Attention Sonic fans! It's time to continue the excitement of Sonic Frontiers with new updates that players are sure to love. Wednesday, March 22 at 5:00 pm / Thursday, March 23 at 01:00 am CET will be the first of three content updates for this year's Sonic Frontiers: Sights, Sounds and Speed Update on PlayStation 4 and PS5 .
Fans can try out new features such as a photo mode to capture memories of their adventures, a new challenge mode to test their mettle against powerful enemies, and a jukebox to play their favorite songs from Sonic Frontiers and Starfall Islands to:
photo mode
To capture travel memories, open the pause menu and switch to photo mode, which pauses the game and reveals a camera that you can move freely to position the shot as you see fit. This mode may not be available in some parts of the game.
Whether you're fighting enemies, riding rails, or performing amazing aerial stunts, you can capture Sonic in action across a wide variety of landscapes to create the perfect scene for your photo. You can also choose from seven visual filters to add sparkle to your photos.
If you need help, you can activate the grid to create the perfect shot, or reset the camera settings with the right analog stick to change the angle and mood of the photo.
New Challenge Modes
After completing the main story campaign, the challenge modes are immediately available to play from the title screen.

In addition, Sonic Frontiers now features Battle Rush, a timed combat mode where you quickly take down multiple enemies, Guardians and Titans at once. Achieve the fastest playthrough time and you might be in for a special surprise.

Play your favorite Sonic songs in the Starfall Islands with the new Jukebox feature, including music from Sonic Frontiers and previous Sonic games if you want to get a little nostalgic while exploring. Some tracks include:

You can listen to any of the 53 songs, 13 of which are unlocked and available to play right after the game update. Unlock the remaining 40 songs by collecting audio memories on each island, so keep an eye out for those orange musical notes!
To change the island's music, press or hold the right navigation bar to open the playlist. The jukebox can also be turned off in the options menu.
Please note that the jukebox feature may not be available in some parts of the game.
Two more updates to the action-packed Sonic Arena will follow later this year, including new features, challenges, playable characters, and more. Details on release dates and content will be announced at a later date.
