Hello PlayStation Blog readers! My name is Craig, I'm one of the designers of Angry Mob Games and I'd like to introduce you to our latest project.
Trinity Fusion is a sci-fi action movie where the only way to save the multiverse is to end it. We've been hard at work getting the game ready for its PlayStation debut and we're thrilled to finally announce that the game is coming to PS4 and PS4. PS5!
About Trinity Fusion
Trinity Fusion is a 2.5D action roguelike set in the multiverse cursed by mankind. You play as Maya, a woman physically connected to her three parallel selves.
Their world is collapsing around them, and you are a key part of a plan to reconnect them and unite each of their scattered worlds into a stable whole.
combat experience
Trinity Fusion is synonymous with great fights. It's a dance of kicks and dodges, complete with satisfying special moves. We've taken everything we learned while creating our previous fighting game, Brawlout, and applied it to a pure PvE experience.
Each of your other selves has their own unique abilities and weapons to help them navigate their way through their world. As their worlds merge, your alternate selves also merge, giving you simultaneous access to the abilities and weapons of each of your combined selves. This allows you to mix and match the powers of each character's unique weapon set or unlock new abilities that base characters don't have access to.
Deep story, complete universe
How did the multiverse end up in such a dire situation? Who are these humans and machines that oppose you? Delve into the history of the multiverse by talking to various characters in the Citadel, the main world of Trinity Fusion, and discover clues to the dark side of its history by exploring the multiverse yourself.
These rich characters and lore were created in collaboration with award-winning poet and science fiction writer Ada Hoffmann, author of The Outside, The Fallen, and The Infinite (we're big fans).
As you progress through the story, you'll unlock new starting points across the multiverse. We want players to be able to reach the end of the story if they complete it. Even if you don't progress through the story within a certain amount of time, you will periodically find coins to spend on permanent upgrades each time you return to the citadel.
Coming to PS4 and PS5 in the Multiverse later this year
