During today's Sony State of Play, we not only shared our first look at the 4 player co-op Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but also got our first behind the scenes look at the game. We really hope you will too, and you'll love hearing about the game in our own words from the Rocksteady team. This is just a quick overview of what our players can expect in the coming months.
Game play experience for everyone
In the gameplay trailer we show off, the Suicide Squad fights waves of corrupted Brainiac soldiers to disable a massive artillery cannon sent to Earth from somewhere. Using unique movement, shooting, hand-to-hand combat skills, tactics and teamwork, they must use chaos to their advantage and succeed in their own unique style.
Results? Smooth movement and a unique combat system for each villain's violent taste. Whether you want to leap to the top of buildings in a single bound like King Shark, or speed up your trusty arm as Captain Boomerang, each playable character has unique skills and abilities tailored to them.
Learn more about the game
For a closer look at the world of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, meet the team behind the scenes as they take us and the team through Arkham Asylum and the City of Tomorrow. Metropolis.
With Suicide Squad: Kill Justice League, we wanted to create a game where the city itself becomes part of the battle. We knew we needed to make our biggest map yet - Metropolis is more than twice the size of Gotham from Batman: Arkham Knight - but it wasn't just about size: we've added detail and personality to our world that we think comes alive and players expect from us.
Each Suicide Squad member has their own unique way of traveling and exploring the city, and with 1-4 player play options and skill trees for each character, you can play however you want, whenever you want.
More on the horizon
There's a lot more coming to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in the coming months, and we can't wait to see players immerse themselves in our post-release vision of Metropolis!
