A few years ago, with Horizon Forbidden West in development, Guerrilla and Firesprite began collaborating for a new journey into the Horizon universe. However, we have worked closely together to develop an innovative action-packed adventure that we are proud to add to the franchise; Horizon Call of the Mountain, originally developed for the PlayStation VR2, is a VR compatible game. veterans and newcomers.
Being immersed in the world of Horizon and exploring it from a first-person perspective is amazing. Players interact with a more immersive world than ever, down to the finest detail. Players can also experience subtle sensations, such as the motion of hands splashing through water or the tension of pulling a bowstring through the precise tactile sensations of the PS VR2 Sense controllers.
The journey itself takes place between two missions in Horizon Zero Dawn, putting players in the shoes of master climber and rambling soldier Rias Shadow Carja (well, climbing gloves). Imprisoned, he hopes to gain freedom and redemption by investigating a mysterious new threat to Sandom and the world.
The team has done a fantastic job creating these elegant, deceptively peaceful deserts where deadly machines can lurk around every corner. Players will experience the incredible sensation of being in this wilderness with incredibly sharp PS VR2 displays, 4K HDR resolution and a 110 degree field of view. Aside from the environment, there's nothing better than experiencing the awesome Horizon vehicles first-hand.
Facing these tough machines will force our players to use all the skills they have acquired throughout the game and every attack will count. We look forward to seeing how our community will rise to these great challenges.
While the battle against deadly machines will melt gamers' hearts, the mere sight of Horizon's stunning landscapes seen from the lookout can turn gamers as well as experienced mountaineers to a halt.
