This achievement means a lot to us, and with it, we're excited to announce Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless and Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles, both coming to PlayStation consoles this year!
Although Nippon Ichi Software has released a large and well-known catalog of RPGs over the past 30 years, perhaps none are as iconic as Disgaea. With the release of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on PS2 in 2003, the series also celebrated its 20th anniversary with NIS America and Prinny! With all of this in mind, it seems only fitting that Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless launches later this fall, bringing with it a great cast of characters and some new features that make it the most anticipated release yet. The year 2023 marks Rhapsody's 25th anniversary! Since the release of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure on PlayStation® in 1998, the series has been known for its beloved characters and quirky music. Along with Rhapsody: The Marl Kingdom Chronicles, we couldn't be more pleased to continue the story by bringing Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and Rhapsody III: Memories of the Marl Kingdom to the West for the first time.

Dysgeia 7: Oath of the Righteous
The demon kingdom of Hinomoto is changing and the days of noble warriors are numbered. Bushido, the moral code of values, ethics and lifestyle practiced by the local people, was replaced by Hinomoto's Law of Destruction. Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless tells the story of lazy warrior Fuji and bushido fangirl Pirilika, as they find unlikely allies in the fight against a tyrannical regime as they discover a true sense of honor and redemption.
Released on PS4 and PS5, this title offers many new and familiar features.
Character Classes: Disgaea 7 has over 40 character classes, including four new additions: Maiko, Bandit, Zombie Maiden and Big Eye.
Auto-Battle: Again in Disgaia 7, after completing a level, you can restart it by engaging enemies in auto-battle. It can help you gain extra experience while saving time in your game.
Online Ranked Battles: AI Ranked Battles, the first in the series, lets you compete against other players online. The system creates optimal strategies based on your opponents' movement patterns and stage characteristics. More wins will lead to a better result, while losses will hurt your position.
Object Regeneration: Like the character regeneration mechanic of previous Disgaia games, which has returned, you can now regenerate objects, turning them into something completely different. The more you do it, the stronger the item becomes!
Hell Mode: Some characters have a "Hell Gauge" that fills up during battle. Once maxed out, they go into Hell Mode, which boosts their stats and unlocks unique abilities.
Tour: Once peace is established in the Hinomoto area, you can stop for a tour. Meet the people of Hinomoto as they return to their normal lives, complete with extra dialogue and the chance to recruit new companions (after defeating them in battle, of course).
Jumbification: Every character in Disgaea 7 can replace themselves, increasing their size and strength, which increases their stats and damage. Be careful, because enemies can do the same!
Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtuless will be released in Fall 2023 for PS4 and PS5. Text options include English and French, audio options in English and Japanese
Rhapsody: Chronicles of the Kingdom of Marl
Discover the story of Cornet, Ferdinand and their family in Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles PS5. This two-game bundle marks the Western debut of Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and Rhapsody III: Memories of the Marl Kingdom. These titles share the same appeal of the short stories and whimsical music of the original, with improved visuals and updated mechanics.
Following in her mother Cornet's footsteps, young Kororo sets out to find her prince in Rhapsody II: Song of the Little Princess.
This title offers a different battle system than the first game, as well as more songs and characters than ever before.
In Rhapsody III: Memories of the Kingdom of Marl, a series of fascinating chapters complete Rhapsody's story and characters. Discover the events that took place before, during and after the previous title, including a touching and heartfelt finale for Cornet's mother, Sherry.
The title also introduces a new combat system that differs from its predecessors, with character combo attacks and the addition of a 3D camera.
Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles will be released on PS5 in summer 2023. Audio options include English and Japanese dubs, while songs will be in Japanese only.
