If you want to become a great Wildhearts hunter, you must rely on all of your senses, not just your eyesight, to successfully hunt and defeat your prey. The snapping of the branches of the trees to your right, the thuds that vibrate your body as your incredibly heavy feet hit the ground, tell you clearly that Fangfang is moving through the forest. You readied your weapon, watching the bow string play gently in your hand. Are you ready
That should give you an idea of how the PlayStation 5's DualSense wireless controller makes every hunt memorable in Wild Hearts. The hunt will begin on February 17. Read on to find out what awaits you when you enter the lands of Azuma and battle the mighty Kemono.
tactile feedback
The beauty of the land around you can be both a blessing and a distraction as you stalk your massive prey. Your intuition can help keep you focused on your quest and provide you with vital information that can mean the difference between victory and defeat. Whether you're using Karakuri to dodge an attack or training weapons on Minato, the haptic feedback will sometimes speak louder than Kemono's more powerful roar.
The slightly outdated wooden doors bar your way. You start pushing it, but it's surprisingly solid. Feel the resistance as it was before he fought you, inevitably giving way to your power.
Stalk your prey by jumping over twisting tree roots and rocks that dot the forest floor. You start to pass, but suddenly you see karakuri springing up, a sure sign that luck is on your side today. You jump on it, feel the vibrations (thanks to your DualSense controller) like your feet, and quickly take valuable ground.
Of course, not all the sensations experienced with Haptics will be strictly necessary for hunting. You can find time to interact with Azuma's gentler wildlife in a helpful and relaxing way. Make a new friend (or two) with a light pat on the back.
As a hunter, you must be one with your weapon of choice. You need to know its weight, its speed, the sensation it produces when it hits your prey or when you shoot an arrow. Unsurprisingly, a heavy hammer is completely different from using a thinner-bladed wagasa, and over time you'll get to know each other better with the DualSense controller.
customizable triggers
You aim carefully, stopping only to catch your breath. Triggering the jet when you draw your bow highlights its power, your dedication to protecting your people, and the respect you have for your giant prey. Once you exhale, your arrow will fly out and deal one final devastating blow to the Kingbeaver.
3D sound
Azuma's beauty is beyond what you can see. All around you, the sounds of nature fill the air. The birds sing and chirp above you, the wind dances through the bells creating a sweet melody, the water flows with a gentle murmur. Enjoy the soothing natural sounds around you with realistic 3D sound. At least until that peace is shattered by the roar of an enraged Kemono.
Life in Minato creates its own melody, made up of the chatter of villagers chatting or trading. Listen carefully and you might even be lucky enough to hear someone sing a popular song.
hunt with friends
For some, the thrill of the hunt is best enjoyed alone. But even the deadliest hunter can face a beast he cannot defeat alone. In Wild Hearts, you can team up with up to two friends (or other players) to stalk and hunt your prey. Group hunting will allow you to expand your battle plans and special missions. And with fast charging, you can play the game even faster with friends.
