Street Fighter 6 will officially launch on June 2, 2023 following The Game Awards 2022 and is available for pre-order today. Place the tables on the trays, buckle up and get ready to explore the world tour in an immersive single player mode with up to four other characters from a diverse international roster.
His round-the-world itinerary
We previously covered more information about the World Tour a few months ago, but we're ready to update your itinerary from a different perspective. As beautiful as vibrant Metro City is, your travels will take you around the world to see special places like Jamaica Beach, Arena Italia and the Festival de France. Each of these places may also have a Master who is looking forward to meeting you.
From these masters you will learn special moves to add to your avatar's moves. You can also mix and match special moves from different masters, meaning your avatar can perform a Hadoken, Sonic Boom, Spin Bird Kick, and Yoga Flame all in the same match, as long as they use different inputs. .
When participating in a World Tournament match, you can face more than one opponent, which means the battles can feel a little unbalanced. Careful selection of specific steps can ensure that you have balanced steps if you hit a corner. Or... fight alongside your masters using Master Assist.
In their infinite wisdom or chaos, depending on the character, the Masters will not leave you alone on the road. You can fight side by side with a master like Ryu by summoning him to the battle. They will then join the battle and help you for a while. Be sure to thank them after the fight. They taught you everything you know. Join the Maestro to fight with you on the world tour.
Want to take a break from all the fighting and "protect" the streets? The World Tour features many mini-games that you can play between games as part-time jobs where you can earn World Tour currency. Break bottles in karate, enjoy Italian cuisine, flex basketball, and more to immerse yourself in the game. Buy in-game clothes, food and more with money earned in these mini-games. Since fighting is the name of the game, many of these minigames will also improve your understanding of fighting game basics.
The legend returns with three newcomers: DJ, Manon, Marisa, JP.
DJ, who first appeared in Super Street Fighter II, is a world-renowned dance music superstar who is always up for a good time. Passionate about music and wrestling, this Jamaican sensation surprises the crowd with trendy new songs. Visit Bather's Beach, the DJ scene in Street Fighter 6, for a lively sunset beach party.
As a returning character to the series, DJ retains his signature moves to get him in the groove, such as Air Slasher, Double Rolling Sobat, Machine Gun Upper, and Jackknife Maximum. His new move, Juice Cool, is a retreat move that can lead to strikes or lunges that will test the opponent's pace. DJ's super level 3 graphics are a weekend treat, a flurry of punches reminiscent of his Ultra Combo II in Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Supermodel and world judo champion, Manon is an idealist who always tries to improve herself in the pursuit of beauty. Stand on the street fight podium to become the strongest model in the world. Catch him on stage at the French Fete Foraine, a dazzling carnival on the French horizon.
Manon is an elegant combination of judo and ballet. The graceful Manej Dore and Renvers are paintings which, if successfully completed, will raise the Manon medal. The higher your medal level, the more the characteristics of each survey will change. Manon performs a pas de deux in her Level 3 Super Art as if her opponent is her dance partner before knocking him down to applause.
Marissa is an Italian jewelry designer who claims to be a descendant of ancient Greek warriors. As a child, he was inspired by seeing the Colosseum in its prime. Today, she seeks fame with a smile and an eye for beauty. Smell the scent of victory in the Colosseum, Marissa's setting, with battle-ready background warriors cheering you on.
A powerful character, Marisa uses her long limbs to deliver slow but massive blows. Marissa can use the Gladius, a devastating direct hit that can be used to deal extra damage. Scutum is a defensive stance that arms the upper body and counters an opponent's attack. Use a powerful front kick to show your opponents what you're capable of. It's: Marissa! Her level 3 super art sends the Goddess of the Hunt into the wall.
JP is the head of an international non-governmental organization responsible for many successful investment projects and the man behind Neishal's current wealth. He has a pet cat named Cybele.
JP checks the entire map from all sides. Using Departure, place a power vacuum in the air, which can then be turned into spikes or used to transport you to your location. JP can also send clones across the screen with Torbalan or Embrace to keep his opponents at bay. The point is JP's Level 3 Super Art, in which he sends devastating force into his opponent's veins before blasting them from the inside.
