During this initial launch phase of the next generation of headphones, players from the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg will initially be able to pre-order PlayStation VR2 via the PlayStation Online Store at direct.playstation.com. . Pre-orders will begin on November 15, and players can start signing up for pre-orders today. Orders on Direct.playstation.com for the PlayStation VR2 headset and bundle will ship during launch week

In other markets, PlayStation VR2 will go on sale at participating retailers with pre-orders starting November 15. Information will be provided by participating local dealers in the area.

PlayStation VR2 Sense technology includes key features that enable a unique gaming experience, such as headset feedback, eye tracking, 3D audio, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback from the PS VR2 Sense controller. Paired with compatible games, they will captivate the player's senses and provide a great sense of immersion.

Plus, with enhanced headphone-based controller tracking and high-fidelity visuals in HDR 4000 x 2040 (2000 x 2040 per eye) video format, PS VR2 adds a truly next-generation gaming experience for gamers.

We designed the PS VR2 headset with comfort in mind, with a slightly thinner and lighter design than our previous headsets. We've included integrated vents for extra airflow and a lens adjustment knob for a more personalized feel. We hope gamers will enjoy this new design.

Today, we're also excited to reveal new titles coming to PlayStation VR2, as well as new revelations about new titles currently in development for PlayStation VR2. Read our announcement here.

It will be interesting to see how game developers leverage the capabilities of the PS VR2 headset to design the next generation of virtual reality games. We expect over 20 titles at launch and look forward to February when PS VR2 launches for players to try them out. We'll have more details on the launch game lineup in the future, so stay tuned.
