Hey PlayStation Warriors! This is your inner informant. I'm on the roof of Velan Studios headquarters and I'm pleased to report that Operation: Reveal Season 8 has been a success. I just pulled the Season 8 Forecast Master Plan from the Viper Database! I'm sitting here waiting for my rescue helicopter to pick me up... in the meantime, let me make a deal with you. Here's what's in store for Knockout City in Season 8: High Society Heist!
Crush your pursuers with a Poison Orb
Adding new special balls to your repertoire in High Society Heist is sure to annoy your opponents! The Poison Ball is filled with poison gas which is released whenever it hits the fighter or the surface. This noxious green gas can obliterate crowds in seconds, and the higher the charge level, the bigger the cloud!
This is our first glimpse of dodgeballs that create constant harm in their area of effect, and dodgeballs shine most in their hands that can thrive in chaos and think ahead to control the flow of battle.
New "braid" to show off your stats
We're giving fighters a new way to show off with Brags, new unlockable items found in the customization menu! Dispose of your business cards before and after every game in new types of clothing that will add spice and elegance to your name.
There are even bragging rights showing off your fleeting stats! Want to prove that you master pass? How about using the KDR from the last game you just won? You can "love" Brags to play them randomly and show off your wacky skills this season and beyond!
Meet the red hand team
High society robbery is an interesting topic to pay attention to in Knockout City. We've lived and fought in a gloriously retro-futuristic world, and now we can delve deeper into the neon glitz and glamor of 20's Roaring iconography… and the serious, mysterious side of it. Well, you can't pull off a heist without a team of specialists eyeing the golden MacGuffin, and the Red Hand Crew brings style.
From leader Voxana Valentine's fur boa and flapper suit to the sleek robotic form of the mechanical strongman Mugshot, the Red Hand clothing and accessories give the fighter a truly unique look. I think Shadow, the gang's enigmatic covert specialist, might be my favorite of the bunch; With subtle effects around the faces and scary voiceovers, it's a great show!
Chasing action
Commissioner Chase has returned from his starring role in Season 4 to take on the Red Hand Gang and now has a new look for the fighters playing alone.
To know all about the adventure, don't miss Brawl Pass Deep Space Dispatch! I guarantee Knockout City fans of the world will be blown away by all the new reveals from this black radio show.
bad people
Finally, following the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Knockout City, the evil duo Bebop and Rocksteady are here to prevent a confrontation!
Shredder's monstrous minions are the finest warriors of the Foot Clan and the mutant's right-hand man in all the evil schemes concocted by the old Chrome Dome. The TMNT Villain Pack gives you everything you need to become your own villain! As well as a cool fighter costume, you'll also get cool player badges, lots of panic, and two really scary initial poses that will make you cringe!
Defeat the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as Bebop and Rocksteady's nemesis with the new TMNT Villains bundle, available on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
